Our states are failed, but our side has to win. In part 2 of our series A People's History of Godspeed You! Black Emperor, we hear from Efrim Menuck who plays guitar in the band. Amidst a late-April snow storm in Montreal, and on the 20th anniversary of the anti-FTAA protests in Quebec City, we talked with Efrim about the last 25 years of the band, the movement against capitalist globalization, our rejection of Zionism, student uprisings, and hope.
